When the Cavaliers acquired Ramon Sessions I said at the time that I'd like to see him join Mo Williams in the starting backcourt for the 2010-11 season rounded out by Antawn Jamison at the three, J.J. Hickson at the four, and Anderson Varejao at the five. According to Brian Windhorst's tweet this morning, he's in agreement on four of those five:

I used to like watching Quincy Douby fill it up in college. When he was posting a Big East best 25 per game back in 2006 for then Rutgers Coach Gary Waters there wasn't a player in the country I didn't think he could score on. Man, I can't tell you all how thrilled I am that King James went to the HEAT!!!!!! When I heard the decision, I almost started crying, because it was so beautiful! No more nationally televised Cavs games. Those days are gone, thank God! I don't know what's worse, Dan Gilbert or the non-stop whining coming from the most ungrateful, worthless, pathetic, maggot-infested fan base in the entire world. "Boo hoo, LeBron left us. We hate him now. We'll just forget about how we were lucky to have him in the first place while other teams were willing to actually build around a star player." I almost came when I saw the footage from a Cleveland bar when the King announced he was going to play in a city that's actually worth something. Nothing gets me off like seeing all of you cry. The Cleveland Fans seemed to love Lebron's hot bravado for 7 years. Now the Miami Fans get to feel Lebron's Heat.
Cleveland and Gilbert road Lebron's "A..." all the way to the bank for 7 long years.... the realization that the gravy train is over ... is what Gilbert's spewing is all about. "Grow Up!" .. Great Teams...Great Corporations...Great Organizations all have one common denominator .. "GREAT LEADERSHIP with CHARACTER" .... and Gilbert just showed his characteristic "Lack Of Class!"
This is professional sports. It's The Nature of the Beast. The truth of the matter is ... in much too many cases....These Professional Athletes give reason/purpose/hope to the repetitive mundane lives of their fans....and the owners & media gladly capitalize.
